Welcome to Fellow Zero Waste Home Readers

I am honored that Bea (from Zero Waste Home) chose to share my story. I must say that the response has shown yet another example of "community." All of you in the zero waste community amaze and inspire me. I am enjoying hearing about things that you do in your daily lives and in your communities. Please, keep sharing what you do. I am soaking in your wisdom. Welcome to desert green goddess.

I'd love to read some tips on grocery shopping ZW in Utah. Especially feeding a large family( meals, snacks, ect.).

You're an inspiration!!! Thanks for doing all you can to help Mother Earth. You're especially inspiring given that you're pursuing this effort in a part of the country where you are outside of the norm. Keep going...you'll eventually make bigger and bigger impacts locally and through this blog. Sometimes it's like a snowball - things go frustratingly slowly, they pick up momentum, and then (sometimes many, many years later) they explode. You're awesome!

I came across your post on the zero waste home blog and was thrilled to find a fellow Utahn interested in zero waste living! I have also felt like an outsider in Salt Lake with my efforts at living a zero waste life. When my kids' friends come over to play they grimace at my fresh food offerings (one 7-year old friend yesterday moaned to me that "You only have healthy food in your house!" He wanted something pre-packaged) My children rarely get new toys or clothing, but still spend hours happily playing. Could you let me know where you are teaching so I could check out your classes? Thanks for sharing your journey!

Perusing your blog right now and am in love with this space. We're a family of five living rurally in N. California and I've got it in my mind to reduce drastically our waste. Glad to have found you from another favorite blog. Cheers!
