I've been to Stadium *on* Fire (as it is called in my brother's family) a few times. I'm generally not crazy about crowds and I don't know a whole lot about country music, but, I've got to say, we had a great time and I'd be up for doing it again.
Green living suggestion: If you live in Orem or Provo, ride your bike. You will get a much closer parking spot. You will pass all the cars idling in traffic--both coming and going. I am certain that even if you live in N. Orem, you would arrive home sooner on a bike than you would in a car. Make sure to outfit everyone's bike with a light--it will be dark on the ride home.
Alternate green living suggestion: If you drive, bring a post-Stadium-on-Fire picnic and games (cards, frisbee, whatever). You could spend the next 2 hours idling your car in traffic, wasting gas and being really annoyed . . . or you could hang out, snack and play (bring pjs for the kids) until the traffic clears out--much better gas efficiency.
And sanity.
So if you didn't get tickets before because it "wasn't in the budget," click on the link at the top. It just got budget-friendlier.
